I enjoyed tag rugby so much last year that I have joined a team for the summer league! Watch this space for photos, results and the latest on our wins!

Adventure-Volunteering in Estonia

For my Adventure I volunteered in Estonia. You can see my Blog HERE

I spent two weeks in Valguta Village, Tartu, Estonia with nine fellow women going for gold!
We did a varity of acitivites- clearing forest trails, revamping a bus shelter with plaster and paint, built a gazeboo, and revamping a community playground. We stayed in the local community centre and we were supported by the whole community.


This is a picture of me planting a tree in the community garden. Hopefully I can return someday and see it!

Enable Ireland Company Bring Back Day

The Enable Ireland ‘Bring Back Day’ was held Tuesday 3^rd July at the Orbsen Building (Moffetts Restaurant), NUI Galway.

On Tuesday 3^rd July, Enable Ireland were on campus to collect any unwanted goods NUI Galway staff might like to donate to their Galway shop. They donated unwanted clean clothing, shoes, accessories, ornaments, towels & linen, crockery, cutlery & glassware, books, collectibles & antiques, CDs and DVDs.

All donated items were given directly to the Enable Ireland Shop on High St. The donations will help Enable Ireland continue to provide essential therapy and services for children with disabilities in Galway city and county.

Mini Marathon

Run, Walk or Jog, its all for a good cause. The Flora Womens Mini-Marathon in Dublin is a great day out! I raised €151 for Enable Ireland thanks to many generous donations.
